My Choice, His Journey

“Life is 10% how we make it and 90% how we take it”. I mentioned in a previous blog about how I had to shelve the dream of writing my book for over 15 years due to my other life commitments. Initially and for awhile, this was a disappointment. However, in retrospect, this detour was […]

wow…I was moved to tears reading your blog post. I cannot imagine how many times you have looked at your son over the years and had your decision affirmed. What a strong woman you are, and it sounds like your son is being raised to be a strong man. I look forward to reading more of your entries.

It is that underlying Faith that gets all of us through each journey that life brings. This is so capturing – can’t wait for your book.

Hi, Shannon, it is nice to connect with you as well! I am excited to begin my blog as part of my book quest journey. I plan to offer not only posts about the book, but other info meant to be a resource to help/inspire other “life warriors”. Stay connected. Best to you.

The Dream Quest

As you can gather, part of my blog is about my long time quest to share my life altering events by writing a book. The intent is a win-win proposition, whereas I might gain closure by sharing my story, while possibly offering guidance and inspiration to others going through their personal crisis. Hi Liz,

First time visitors. I was drawn here from the SITS Girls website. I just joined. I am doing the Ultimate Blog Challenge this month and have found it so rewarding that I wanted to keep the challenge going through other communities as well. Such a dance!

Anyways, just wanted to say hi and that I like your post. I am writing my own translation of the Tao Te Ching right now, so writing is definitely on my mind as well. Nice to meet you!

Liz - July 21, 2012 - 10:11 AM

Hi Amy,

I’m so glad you stopped by and glad SITS Girls is connecting so many bloggers together on their journeys. I just read your most recent post and enjoyed your interpretation. The title of the book you are working with fits well with my own (Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life). We can’t always choose what life hands us but we do have the choice to how it will affect our lives.

I’ll be eager to see what your thoughts are when my book comes out.

Keep in touch and best wishes on your journey!
