Sorry that I was missing in action last week from my blog. I was away for a short work related trip to Scottsdale, AZ for a few nights. I think every once in a while we all have to remember to take time out to “sharpen the saw” to gain some insight back into our work.

We stayed at a fabulous Marriott resort called the Camelback Inn. The property and the hospitality there was exceptional! So was the food & the margaritas. I also got lucky and found it as a great package on the US Air website under vacation packages.

Liz BarkerExcuse the pun, but, 100 degrees there is literally “no sweat” because the hot air is dry with no sticky humidity. Yes, it is not the heat, it is the humidity that’s awful.

I took a side trip to the Grand Canyon. The sight of it is majestic & inspiring! Yes, every week people do fall to their death off the trails surrounding this giant chasm. That’s why I’d never hike or donkey ride down to the bottom. Plus, it takes all day to go down and back. Did you know that the Canyon is one of the 7 Wonders of the World?

Liz BarkerWouldn’t that be a great “Bucket List”, to be able to visit all 7 Wonders? I love traveling…..

Ciao!
